‘Scherzo’ is a piece for SSAA composed by Paul Goldstaub.

‘Scherzo‘ was commissioned for the Ithaca College Women’s Chorale and Janet Galván, their Director. Janet was looking for a more challenging and lighthearted work for a ladies choir and approached Goldstaub.  The result is a fun and energetic composition focusing on the percussive sound from the treble voices whilst omitting the use of legitimate words.
