Járdányi Paul (1920 -1966) is a Hungarian composer , music educator and ethnomusicologist. In 1936 he studied at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music , where he was a student of Zoltán Kodály (composition), Ede Zathureczky (violin) and György Kósa (piano). He graduated in 1938 and, in addition to continuing his studies at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, enrolled in the ethnography department of Pázmány Péter University .
