“Tread Softly” is a work for SSAA Choir A Cappella. It is arranged by Judith Herrington based on words by William Butler Yeats.
It is divided into Soprano I (Upper), Soprano I (Lower), Soprano II, Alto I & Alto II. There are only 5 notes in the difference between Soprano I Upper & Lower. I have also recorded the alternative ending bar approximately 4 beats after the piece ends.
Judith Herrington is the Founder and Artistic Director of the highly acclaimed Tacoma Youth Chorus, a choral education program in Tacoma, Washington which has achieved wide reaching success. She also works with the Charles Wright Academy in Tacoma.
